Valdosta, GA (June 18, 2025) – A tragic single-vehicle crash in Valdosta early Saturday morning has left two people dead and another in critical condition, according to the Valdosta Police Department.

Authorities say the incident occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Old Clyattville Road. A passerby contacted dispatch after witnessing a vehicle collide with a tree and catch fire.

The caller reported seeing individuals lying on the ground near the vehicle who appeared unresponsive.

When officers arrived, they discovered two men who had been ejected from a pickup truck. A third man was located inside the vehicle and was also unresponsive. Emergency crews transported the surviving individual to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
