Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Georgia
Motorcycle crashes are among the most devastating traffic accidents in Georgia. Because riders have little protection, even a minor collision can lead to catastrophic or fatal injuries. According to the Georgia Department of Driver Services, hundreds of motorcyclists lose their lives in crashes across the state each year, many involving larger vehicles.
Many deadly motorcycle crashes in Georgia happen when drivers fail to see or yield to riders, especially at intersections or while merging. Distracted driving, unsafe turns, and speeding are also common factors that lead to these tragic collisions. Limited visibility and driver inattention often make motorcyclists even more vulnerable on busy roads.
For families, the aftermath is devastating. These split-second moments can leave families facing overwhelming grief, financial stress, and emotional pain that lasts a lifetime.
Georgia law allows surviving family members to file a wrongful death claim. These claims may help recover compensation for funeral expenses, medical bills, lost income, and the loss of companionship.
Insurance companies often attempt to settle quickly and for less than families deserve. Working with a brave wrongful death lawyer helps protect your rights and ensures accountability.
