Long Co., GA (February 15, 2025) – A traffic accident with injuries occurred in Long County Georgia on earlier this week. Responders were sent to the scene on GA-196 near Ocie Watson Loop Road to help those involved and investigate the circumstances of the incident.
Reports show the wreck happened when a Mazda 6 was traveling east on GA-196 and attempting to turn left onto Ocie Watson Loop Northeast. The driver collided with a 2010 Dodge Charger for reasons that are still being looked into by the police.
Both occupants of both vehicles were transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries they sustained in the accident. One other victim was transported to the hospital by helicopter. The names of the injured victims have not been reported at this time. According to police reports, charges may be pending on one of the drivers. Police in Long County continue to investigate the incident.
