Georgia Auto Accidents
A significant number of traffic accidents are reported in Georgia per year. On average, the state sees over 300,000 reported vehicle collisions annually. These wrecks led to injuries for more than 150,000, while thousands more ended up losing their lives. Unfortunately, most of these accidents are preventable and caused by the actions of negligent drivers.
In the US, negligent driving has become a common issue. Drivers who engage in dangerous behaviors involving distraction, fatigue, intoxication, and speeding cause over 90% of reported accidents in the United States each year.
In just one year, speeding contributed to over 11,000 fatalities in the US. Additionally, distracted driving is behind over 3,000 annual deaths throughout the nation. Accidents caused by negligent driving are often more severe, highlighting the importance of staying focused, alert, and sober behind the wheel.
