Atlanta, GA (May 31, 2025) — A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while standing on a sidewalk during a crash on Friday, May 30, according to the Brookhaven Police Department.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Peachtree Road and North Druid Hills Road, a heavily trafficked area. Authorities say two vehicles were involved in a crash that resulted in one of them veering off the road and hitting the pedestrian.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been released, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Northside Hospital for emergency care.
Brookhaven police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. More details are expected to be released as the investigation unfolds.
