Sandy Springs, GA (March 24, 2025) – Police informed that a man was intoxicated when he caused a fatal hit-and-run collision in Sandy Springs on Friday, March 21. Police say they were sent to the scene of the collision on Roswell Road near Mystic Place shortly after the crash happened.
One person reportedly lost their life in the accident, though their name has not been released at this time. The driver who caused the collision had fled the scene but was later tracked down and charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, among other charges.
