Bryan Co., GA (May 9, 2025) – Police in Bryan County responded to the scene of a traffic accident on Interstate 16 on May 8. At approximately 4:00 p.m., the collision occurred on Interstate 16 near milepost 138. At least two vehicles crashed in the area for reasons still being investigated by law enforcement.

One or more people suffered injuries in the wreck and received treatment from paramedics at the scene. Those with serious injuries were transported to the hospital by ambulance. Police asked drivers to use alternate routes while responders worked to clear the wreckage from the road and help those involved.
