Atlanta, GA (April 15, 2025) – A 19-year-old reportedly lost his life in a traffic accident in Little Five Points, Atlanta, on Monday night, April 14. Police informed that the wreck occurred at the intersection of Moreland Avenue and McLendon Avenue.
Cooper Schoenke, 19, reportedly lost his life in the collision. Schoenke was operating a Honda Accord when his vehicle was struck by another car that was fleeing police. The vehicle being apprehended reportedly ran a red light at the intersection and hit Schoenke’s Honda. The force of the crash pushed the Honda approximately one block from the point of impact, reports said. Traffic was delayed in the area for hours while responders worked at the scene. The other driver is facing several charges in connection with the crash. Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the incident.
