Atlanta, GA (April 14, 2025) – Two people lost their lives, and three others are in critical condition after a car accident in Atlanta. According to reports, two vehicles collided in Midtown on Monday morning, April 14.
The wreck occurred on Piedmont Avenue near Monroe Drive at approximately 10:00 a.m. when a Tesla carrying five individuals collided with the side of a box truck. The Tesla reportedly ran a red light at the intersection. The 21-year-old man driving the Tesla and a 23-year-old female passenger were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identities have not been reported at this time. Three others, identified as a 22-year-old woman, and two other men, ages 22 and 26, were transported to the hospital with critical injuries. Police report the driver of the truck and one passenger did not sustain any injuries in the crash. The investigation into the fatal collision continues.
