Atlanta, GA (June 4, 2025) – A high-speed collision involving three vehicles sent two individuals to the hospital early Wednesday morning in southwest Atlanta. The crash happened just after midnight in the 4400 block of Campbellton Road, near County Line Road SW, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Authorities say a black Chevrolet Malibu was heading eastbound at a high rate of speed when the driver attempted to swerve and avoid a black BMW. In the process, the Malibu veered off the road, slammed into a telephone pole, and collided with a white Nissan Armada. The vehicle continued across the center line and struck a black Tesla head-on.
Emergency responders transported the front passenger of the Malibu to Grady Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Malibu was also hospitalized and is reported to be in stable condition. Fortunately, the drivers of the Nissan and Tesla were not injured.
