Fatal Car Accidents in Georgia
Fatal car accidents happen far too often on Georgia’s busy highways and parkways. Head-on crashes, like the recent one on South Fulton Parkway, are especially dangerous because the impact is so severe. These wrecks often leave families facing sudden, heartbreaking loss.
Many deadly crashes stem from driver negligence. Distracted driving, such as texting, takes eyes off the road for critical seconds. Speeding and reckless lane changes make collisions far more violent. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs continues to cause preventable tragedies. Illegal passing on curves or two-lane roads also puts everyone in danger.
Losing a loved one in a crash changes life forever. Families grieve while also facing unexpected financial burdens. Emergency medical bills, funeral and burial expenses, and the loss of income can cause overwhelming stress. The emotional pain of losing love, guidance, and daily support is even heavier.
A brave Atlanta wrongful death lawyer can help families seek justice and hold negligent drivers accountable. Compensation may cover medical care provided before death, funeral and burial costs, lost income and benefits, and the pain and suffering the victim endured. It can also address the loss of companionship and support the loved one once gave their family.
