Georgia Car Crashes
Each year, thousands of people suffer injuries in Georgia car wrecks. In 2022, it was estimated that more than 1,700 people lost their lives in auto accidents statewide. On average, around 130,000 yearly injury collisions occur in the Peach State. Tragically, over 30 people lose their lives each week in catastrophic auto accidents across the state. Unfortunately, car accidents have become a common occurrence on Georgia’s roadways.
Negligent driving is behind many of these accidents, such as driving under the influence and speeding. However, the leading cause of car accidents in Georgia today is the failure to use a turn signal—another form of driver negligence.
