Georgia Traffic Collisions
Each year, Georgia experiences a staggering number of traffic accidents, with thousands of individuals sustaining injuries. In 2022 alone, more than 1,700 lives were tragically lost on the state’s roadways. On average, around 130,000 injury-causing accidents occur annually in Georgia, resulting in the deaths of over 30 people every week due to severe auto collisions. Unfortunately, these statistics highlight the frequency and severity of car accidents in the Peach State.
A significant number of these accidents stem from driver negligence, including behaviors such as speeding and driving under the influence. Currently, the most common cause of car accidents in Georgia is drivers failing to use their turn signals, which is a concerning form of negligence.
