Monroe Co., GA (December 12, 2024) – A woman from Macon, age 41, lost her life after a fatal crash happened on Thursday, December 12.
Information from local sources shows the collision happened on Highway 42 near Boxankle Road at around 7:17 a.m. A press release shows an SUV was headed north when it ran off the roadway, overcorrected, and veered into the southbound lane where it struck a Chevy Sedan. The driver of the SUV lost their life at the scene. Two passengers present in the SUV were transported to a hospital in Macon with injuries deemed serious but non-life-threatening.
