Georgia Traffic Accidents

Jackson Co., GA - Multi-Vehcile Collision on I-85 near Jesse Cronic RdEach year, thousands of families in Georgia are forced to cope with the devastating aftermath of serious car crashes. In 2022 alone, an estimated 1,800 people tragically lost their lives on Georgia’s roads. Additionally, more than 125,000 individuals sustained injuries in traffic collisions across the state.

Most of these accidents aren’t just random misfortunes—they’re preventable. In Georgia and throughout the United States, negligent driving continues to be the leading cause of motor vehicle accidents, accounting for over 90% of all reported crashes.

Among the most dangerous behaviors behind the wheel are speeding, driving under the influence, and distractions like texting or adjusting a GPS. Alarmingly, distracted driving has become the most common form of negligence in Georgia, putting everyone on the road at risk.

For those who are injured in these preventable crashes, the road to recovery can be incredibly difficult. Painful injuries, mounting medical bills, and time away from work and loved ones can take a major toll—not just physically, but emotionally and financially.

If you or a loved one has been hurt in a car accident in Georgia, it’s essential to know your rights. A Jackson County car accident attorney can help determine if negligence played a role and whether you’re entitled to compensation for your losses.
