Elbert Co., GA (March 6, 2025) – A two-car crash in Elbert County on Monday, March 3, seriously injured a 9-year-old boy. Paramedics flew the boy to Greenville Memorial Hospital after the accident, according to the Georgia State Patrol. On the afternoon of March 3, police from Post 52 responded to the crash scene. Reports show a westbound Toyota Corolla tried to turn left onto Robinwood Lane and entered the path of an eastbound Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep collided with the passenger side of the Toyota, seriously injuring the boy, an Elberton resident. The Corolla’s driver, Dennis Glaude, 71, sustained minor injuries in the crash. The two individuals inside the Corolla, including a 53-year-old man and an 11-year-old boy, did not sustain injuries. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident and say charges are currently pending.
