Cobb County, GA (April 11, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian collision occurred in Atlanta on Friday morning, April 11, that took the life of one person. Reports show the crash happened at approximately 5:00 a.m. on Interstate 20 near Riverside Parkway in Cobb County.

According to information provided by the Georgia Department of Transportation, the pedestrian was struck by four vehicles in the westbound lanes of the interstate. The force threw the individual into eastbound traffic, where they were hit by a fifth vehicle. The victim was identified as 44-year-old Albert Lewis, of Stockbridge. The investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing at this time.
