Bainbridge, GA – 2 Injured in Crash Near Inland Gas Station

Bainbridge, GA (November 28, 2025) – Two people were injured following a crash on November 26 in front of the Inland gas station/Sun Stop in Bainbridge, according to Bainbridge Police officials.

The crash occurred when a red Toyota Corolla, which had stopped at a stop sign while traveling east, failed to yield to oncoming traffic. The Corolla struck a northbound black Ford F-350 on the driver’s side. After the initial impact, the Corolla veered off the roadway via the east shoulder and overturned.

Following the rollover, the Corolla rotated and hit the Ford a second time, striking the rear driver’s side tire before coming to a final stop in the median.

Emergency crews responded to the scene. The Ford driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Toyota suffered serious injuries and was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing as authorities work to determine all contributing factors.

Our thoughts are with those injured in this crash, and we wish them both a full and smooth recovery.

Car Accidents in BainbridgeBainbridge, GA – 2 Injured in Crash Near Inland Gas Station

Car accidents caused by failure to yield are among the most common and dangerous types of crashes in Georgia. These accidents frequently happen at intersections, stop signs, and highway entrances—locations where drivers are expected to yield the right-of-way. In smaller cities like Bainbridge, where both residential and commercial traffic converge daily, even a brief moment of inattention, poor judgment, or distraction can result in a serious collision.

When drivers fail to yield, the result is often a side-impact crash, which can be especially hazardous for occupants seated on the side of the vehicle that is struck. In severe cases, a failure to yield can cause vehicles to leave the roadway or even overturn, as seen in the recent crash involving a Toyota Corolla and a Ford F-350. The presence of larger vehicles like trucks or SUVs in these collisions can increase the risk of catastrophic injuries due to their size and weight.

Victims who suffer injuries in accidents caused by failure to yield may have the right to pursue a personal injury claim. These claims can provide compensation for a variety of losses, including medical bills, lost income, future rehabilitation costs, and pain and suffering. In order to succeed with a claim, it is essential to establish fault through strong evidence. This often involves accident reconstruction, eyewitness statements, traffic camera footage, and official police reports.
