Atlanta, GA (February 9, 2025) – At least one person was hurt in a traffic accident in Atlanta on February 8. Shortly after 2:00 p.m., an unspecified number of vehicles crashed on Interstate 20. Several center lanes and the far right lane of the interstate were closed near Interstate 75 while responders worked at the scene. Police in Atlanta are currently investigating the details of the accident.

Those with injuries were treated by paramedics and transported to the hospital for further care. Their names have not been reported at this time. Police asked local drivers to avoid the area and use Memorial Drive as an alternate travel route.
