Atlanta, GA (November 1, 2024) – One person lost their life in a collision in Atlanta on Wednesday evening, October 30. At approximately 5:45 p.m., responders were sent to the scene on Powers Ferry Road. One of the vehicles reportedly veered out of its lane and crossed into oncoming traffic. It then veered down an embankment and collided with a tree. Two people, both residents of Marietta, were transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where one later lost their life. Currently, their names have not been reported. Police in Atlanta continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
