Atlanta, GA (January 26, 2025) – Multiple people suffered injuries in a traffic accident in Collier Heights on January 26. First responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision on Interstate 285 South near Interstate 20 West after receiving a 911 call. Sources say the incident happened at approximately 4:00 p.m. when at least two vehicles collided.
Several people were hurt in the wreck, including children who were seen with facial injuries at the scene. EMS worked to help the injured victims and transport them to the hospital by ambulance. At this time, those involved have not been identified as police continue to investigate. Traffic delays ensued in the area while the scene was active, and local motorists were forced to use alternate travel routes.
