Atlanta, GA (January 7, 2025) – A fatal collision happened in Atlanta on January 6. Police are currently investigating the wreck that occurred at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr Drive Northwest and West Lake Avenue Northwest. Responders were sent to the scene just before 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
Police say the wreck involved two vehicles, including a Toyota Corolla and a Ford Focus. The driver of the Corolla, identified as a 27-year-old woman, lost her life at the scene. Two individuals inside the Focus, an adult driver and a baby, were rushed to a local hospital with injuries. The Atlanta Police Department’s Accident Investigations Unit is currently investigating the crash and the reasons that may have led up to it.
